The inspiration behind Romeo Vineyards’ Ruby Rosé…
Ruby Begonia Romeo was adopted by the Romeo family, and her kind, gentle, and fun-loving attitude delighted visitors to the Calistoga tasting room whenever she would make her occasional appearance. She was a licensed service and emotional support dog registered with the US Animal Registry, and a shining example of the joy that animals bring to our lives.
In her honor, we have renamed the latest release of our award-winning Romeo Vineyards Rosé wine to Ruby Rosé. 10% of proceeds from the sale of this vintage will go to local animal organizations in the Calistoga area, and other no-kill shelters that we support. The Romeo Family will match the 10% of proceeds with another 10% donation. Thank you for helping support the amazing work that these organizations do to help our four and two legged friends throughout the year.
