Harvest Notes: 2009 resulted in some great wine, despite the season being a bit of a nail biter with the combination of hot and cool weather and rains toward the end of the season.
Tasting notes: Full aromas of Sandalwood, hyacinth, raspberry and vanilla. The palate is broad and interesting, with complex layers of chocolate, molasses, and licorice that alternate with spicy plum and raspberry, echoing the varietal complexity of the wine itself. A long finish with evolved tannins balances the sweet entry, making this wine a real mouthful.
